Chairman Mao's Former Residence

Chairman Mao's former residence in Yan'an is located on the hillside on the right side of the central office building of the Yangjialing Revolutionary Site. There are three holes in the courtyard sitting west to east in the stone kiln, the middle hole is the office, the left hole is the bedroom, and the other hole is the staff's room. From November 1938 to October 1943, Comrade Mao Zedong lived and worked here.

Every time I visit Chairman Mao's former residence, I feel a lot! The people's leaders live such a simple life, and only for the people. The old residence is very well arranged, which fully reflects the hard and simple daily life of the president of that era.

Chairman Mao's old residence in Yan'an has many old residences, the more important Yangjialing old residence is called on the hillside of Yangjialing Road in Baota District. The old building in northern Shaanxi is a cave-style building with some photos and physical objects displayed.
