From the wind on the way down the Yanagawa River, I was able to see the Namikura of the red opinion Masa making from a distance. Namikura is a brick building built in the Meiji era, and it is said that it is still used as a miso brewery for Tsuru Miso Brewery. The historic red brick building was well shining in the quiet moat.
I was able to see this Namikura from the boat down the Yanagawa River. The Donko boat carrying us, which departed from a place near Nishitetsu Yanagawa Station, dived through the narrow Yanagawa Castle Hori Water Gate and entered the inner moat. I saw this Namikura, which is lined with old red brick buildings. The red brick warehouse in this 3 building, which was built in the Taisho era, is said to have been used as a slug room for a miso making company.
You can see it from boating, but you can see it better from the bridge on foot.
