If you only have two days to spend in Yangzhou, just follow this itinerary
Yangzhou Two Days One Night | Visit Yangzhou in the March of Fireworks — This route is a must-go!!
"Because of a drama, I traveled to a city and found a parallel version of myself in Yangzhou." Just got back from Yangzhou! This trip was truly worth it. The elegance of traditional gardens combined with the tech vibe of an immersive theme park creates a unique experience blending ancient and modern! I've put together this foolproof guide, just copy it down 📝
🚗【Yangzhou Two-Day Travel Itinerary】
D1 | He Garden — iQIYI Theme Park
✅ Morning at He Garden, known as the "Top Garden of the Late Qing Dynasty" — it’s not an exaggeration!
Must-visit spots:
· Covered Corridor: A 1500m aerial corridor where you can stroll without an umbrella even on rainy days. The blend of Chinese and Western design makes every photo look cinematic. Each flower window on the corridor has a unique pattern~
✅ Afternoon: iQIYI Theme Park (4-6 hours)
Recommended entry time: 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM
The world’s first iQIYI Theme Park! Drama fans will be ecstatic. This isn’t a traditional amusement park; it’s an immersive film and TV universe! I’ve said it about 100 times: "So worth it!"
📝 Must-try attractions (in order of priority)
✔️ "Lotus Tower" 360° immersive stage performance
· The seats rotate! 220 people watch simultaneously, with red silk sword dances flying overhead. Li Xiangyi steps out of the book. Be sure to line up early.
✔️ Full-sensory theaters (choose from 4)
· "Tang Dynasty Mystery": VR + live NPCs + puzzle mechanisms. I played twice with my boyfriend! The feel of the bow and crossbow controllers is amazing.
· "Zhong Kui": Slight horror warning! But the special effects are explosive. Everyone screamed during the final demon king fight.
· "A Chinese Odyssey": A walking VR experience, not just sitting and watching! The fairy Zixia is right in front of you.
· "Flying Over the Grand Canal": Naked-eye 3D journey through past and present, touring the beautiful landscapes along the Grand Canal.
✔️ Themed street check-in
· "Raging Waves" nostalgic street: Gao Qiqiang’s old house perfectly restored 1:1! Old TVs and telephones are interactive, and you can interact with NPCs too — full of emotional value 🈵
· "Tang Mystery" Tang-style street: All classic scenes can be experienced here.
✔️ Holographic light and shadow space
· "My Altay": 540° projection + ground simulating grassland slopes, really feels like walking on the grasslands of Altay.
D2 | Slender West Lake — Pishi Street — Guangling Youyan — Grand Canal Museum
✔️ Slender West Lake
· Easy route: Enter from South Gate → Changti Spring Willow → Xu Garden → Little Jinshan → Fishing Platform → Five Pavilion Bridge → White Pagoda → Twenty-four Bridge → Exit North Gate
⬇️ Must-photograph spots:
Fishing Platform ✔️ Five Pavilion Bridge ✔️ Twenty-four Bridge ✔️ Xichun Terrace ✔️
💡 Hard lesson learned: Be sure to enter before 8 AM! I arrived at 7:30 AM; the morning mist + sunrise + empty long embankment was breathtaking. After 8 AM, tour groups flood in.
✔️ Pishi Street + Guangling Youyan
The pinnacle of Yangzhou Citywalk, the iconic "Yangzhou" characters for photos are here.
These two neighborhoods are adjacent and can be visited together. After Pishi Street, you reach Guandong Street.
✔️ Grand Canal Museum
· Tickets: Free (but must be booked 3 days in advance via WeChat official account! Closed on Mondays)
· Opening hours: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
This is the most impressive museum I’ve ever visited, bar none!
· Booking tip: Tickets release daily at 7:00 PM, set an alarm to grab them! If you can’t get a ticket, visit the Canal Sanwan Scenic Area outside the museum in the afternoon for photos. The sunset photo spot is on the wooden bridge next to "Hong Cuisine." You don’t need to enter the museum to get great shots~
I used to think Yangzhou was a "city for the elderly," until I stood inside the "Lotus Tower" theater at iQIYI Theme Park, watching Li Xiangyi’s red silk sword dance fly overhead, suddenly understanding what it means for tradition and modernity to collide✨
"Li Bai said, 'Visit Yangzhou in the March of Fireworks,' but I want to say: don’t wait for March, go now! After all, in the same weekend, you can dream in a late Qing garden and star in a TV drama — missing out on Yangzhou like this would truly be a regret.
