Matenadaran-Ancient Handwriting Publication Museum is an eye-opener place for me today. Let me first introduce Johannes Gutenberg, the originator of world publications (Figure 3). He was the German who first used mobile publication printing in 1439. Therefore, all the publications before this are copied and completed by hand. Here I saw that the earliest preserved publication was handwritten in the 5th century AD (Figure 4).
Matenadaran is actually very big. Has several venues with ancient manuscripts and books from all over the world 📖 But that’s not all, more precious ones are kept away in the storage. Also they have restoration halls, tour there is very interesting! You’ll need about 2 hour for the whole tour. There are bilingual guides who will introduce you everything.
