What people are saying:

To prevent heat exposure, the four o'clock in the afternoon to enter the attractions, first visit the museum, there is a *** explanation, the introduction is more detailed. Before the visit to the Ling District consult the museum staff *** car deadline said they did not know. The No. 3 Mausoleum is a sight that all can visit. The No. 1 or 2 Mausoleum is far away. You need to take a separate car and there is no clear indication when it will end. If you want to ride an electric bike, the result tells us that the time has passed. We feel that as the 5a-level scenic museum and Wangling scenic area, should be a whole, the relevant information such as the time to visit the staff should be aware of, so that better guide visitors to visit. There are also tips about which scenic spot and time to go to by *** car. This will improve the economic benefits of the scenic spot and also allow tourists to have a better travel experience.

Additional Information

The Western Xia Mausoleums are a complex of tombs located in the western suburbs of Yinchuan City at the foot of the Helan Mountains. These are the imperial tombs of the Western Xia Dynasty (1038-1227) and many emperors are buried here alongside their family members. The entire mausoleum complex holds the graves of nine emperors along with 140 accompanying tombs. The shape of the Western Xia Tombs are shaped differently from those of other imperial Chinese tombs and tomb clusters. Structurally, they resemble a piece of cornmeal "wotou" bread or a sharp-sided domed pyramid. The scenic area also has built a museum dedicated to the Western Xia Dynasty complete with exhibits on art and history of the Western Xia and an array of carved stone steles from that period. The museum hosts an abundance of imperial relics of the Western Xia. Museum docents are delighted to share all they know and will happily assist visitors in understanding more about the rise and fall of the Western Xia and their mysterious, fascinating culture and customs.
