What travelers say:

The ancient bridge is located on Longxi on the west side of Yazhi Village. It was built in the Southern Song Dynasty. It has a width of four meters and five meters and a span of 15 meters. It should have been a major project at that time, and the bridge was built by straight stone strips. Rare in the country. Now the ancient bridge is independent of the countryside, only to stay

Additional Information

A provincial level cultural relic preservation site of Zhejiang province, Guyue Bridge straddles the brook of Longxi flowing past the gate of Yazhi street at the town of Chi’an. Built during the sixth year of Jiading period in the Song Dynasty, this is a pentagonal bridge featuring a single stony arch. The bridge’s peculiar style and unique structure bear witness to the unparalleled craftsmanship of its builders. Never having been rebuilt or refurbished, the bridge stands like a grizzly bearded sage as a testimony to the long bridge building history of Yiwu city.
