Excavation investigation has been carried out since 1991, and mural paintings and Buddha statues restored from many excavated items are exhibited at the Kamiyodo Hakuhooka Exhibition Hall. According to the curator's commentary, mural paintings and Buddha statues were made of clay, so they were burned at high temperatures due to the fire and porcelain, so they remained unreturned to the soil. In addition, the restored Buddhist murals seem to have regained the beauty and brilliance of the past by coloring. These things have established the Ritsuryo state and the Izumo region has been centralized with the central government ...
