Yufeng Temple

Yufeng Temple is located at the southern foot of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain to the north of Lijiang. It was built during the Kangxi period of the Qing Dynasty. It is one of the famous temples in Lijiang. Lijiang Old Town is about 13 km away. The main hall of Yufeng Temple is a courtyard layout, consisting of a gate tower, a main hall and two tigers. There is a well-known camellia in the temple. The camellia is two different varieties of camellia after being grafted into one. The tree is nearly 500 years old. Because it blooms 20,000 to 30,000 flowers every year, it is named "Ten Thousand Flowers Tea". Whenever the spring flowers bloom, thousands of camellias bloom in competition, like the gorgeous red clouds complementing each other, reflecting the entire temple red.
