Shenjiamen Fishing Port is located on the southeast side of Zhoushan Island, facing the East China Sea and backed by the Qinglong and Baihu Mountains. It forms a natural sheltered harbor about ten miles long and half a mile wide. It is the largest natural fishing port in China and is known as the world's three largest fishing ports along with Bergen Port in Norway and Callao Port in Peru. It forms the Golden Triangle of East China Sea Tourism with Putuo Mountain, the Buddhist Kingdom of the Sea and Sky, Zhujiajian of Yandang on the Sea, and Taohua Island, the Fairy Mountain on the Sea. As early as the middle of the Qing Dynasty, a bustling street market was formed. There were records of "rows of shops, a variety of seafood, and hawkers flocking in". It is known as the "Little Shanghai" and "Living Water Wharf". Thousands of ships shuttle here all year round. During the fishing season, hundreds of thousands of fishermen from more than a dozen coastal provinces and cities gather in the port, with masts and masts standing in rows, fish and shrimps forming a unique island fishing port landscape. At night, the fishing lights are lit, the stars are like weaving, and the beauty is beyond words.

When I drove from Shanghai to Zhoushan, it was just after Typhoon Chandu passed by. The fishing boats were all parked in the port, and the fishermen were either resting or replenishing supplies. After all, Zhoushan is an archipelago with no barriers. Although the typhoon has passed, the wind force is two levels higher than that of Shanghai, and dark clouds are still pressing down. Standing on the shore and staring at it is really a unique feeling.
Zhoushan Shenjiamen Fishing Port is one of the largest fishing ports in my country. Every time when fishing boats are in season, the masts of countless people in the fishing port form a unique landscape. Various seafood stalls. It is also an important transportation hub for visiting various scenic spots in Yisi Zhoushan.
