Dajue Mountain, originating from Buddhism's concept of the Buddha, refers to enlightened practitioners; it is a world Buddhist natural and cultural park. Located in Zixi County, Fuzhou City, the mountain is divided into eastern and western sections. The eastern section features a 300,000-acre virgin forest as its core attraction, while the western section is a comprehensive tourist area centered on religious culture and canyon rafting. The Dajuezhe Peak is the mountain's iconic view, resembling the enlightened Sakyamuni Buddha. Amidst the layered peaks and towering mountains, the natural landscape of Guanyin (Avalokitesvara) appears serene and effortless, a heavenly gift concealing nature's endless mysteries. Between elevations of 300m and 1,200m, a sightseeing shuttle, monorail, cableway, tunnels, and walking paths form a 30km circular route. Visitors can tour the attraction via this loop, connecting planned mountaintop temples and cliffside views along the way. Hidden within are peaks, lakes, pavilions, caves, terraces, celestial lakes, sky roads, and bridges.TianyanTianquan, TianmenTiantaishan, TianjieThe celestial realm forms a wondrous "Nine Heavens" view; beneath the "Nine Heavens" at Dajue MountainLotus PeakShenguifengBijiafengEight towering peaks—Cuiping Peak, Jiangjun Peak, Wenqu Peak, Dieluo Peak, Jingang Peak, and three others—rise abruptly from the ground, forming the "Eight Earthly Realms" view. Immersed in the "Nine Heavens and Eight Earthly Realms, Hundred Views," one can take in the breathtaking panorama and suddenly realize why this is truly the "Sacred Mountain and Holy Waters, the Paradise of the Enlightened." Ascending Dajue Mountain, you'll arrive at the Dajue Rock Temple nestled in a high-altitude cave, where the chanting of Buddhist scriptures lingers in the air and incense smoke swirls. The temple was first built in the first year of the Xianhe era of the Eastern Jin Dynasty (326 AD), boasting a history of 1,700 years. It was later frequented by eminent monks of the Tang Dynasty—Lingyin Temple, HangzhouThe Great Enlightenment Zen Master sought seclusion from worldly affairs and once traveled here, giving the Great Enlightenment Rock Temple its name. The Great Enlightenment Rock is a massive granite cave, with a lower front and higher rear, measuring 69m deep, 99m wide, and 19m high—a truly rare geological formation. The temple consists of seven parts, including the Great Buddha Hall, Ksitigarbha Hall, Guanyin Hall, and Sangharama Hall.It evolved into a comprehensive temple integrating the three major religions. The "Eight Immortals Cave" and "Reading Cliff" on the western side are particularly marvelous. Located deep in mountain valleys, Jiangxi's Dajue Mountain Town has witnessed the footsteps of countless devout pilgrims over the centuries and inspired generations of literati. Today, the town is built soaring above the ground, with architecture as its form and culture as its soul, blending one river, three streets, six alleys, and nine mansions to recreate the grandeur of the Song Dynasty. It has become a sanctuary for meditation, relaxation, and vacation, continuing its millennium-old legacy of prosperity. The TV drama "The Legend of the Heavenly Match: Sequel" was filmed here.

Amazing! ...
A spontaneous trip to Dajue Mountain. In the late autumn and early winter, I invited my best friend for a quick getaway. Thanks to the enthusiastic guidance of my friends on social media, everything went smoothly, from hailing taxis to buying tickets and arranging the itinerary. Although it was the off-season, the weather was great. We experienced the cliffside bullet train, climbed Nantianmen, and visited Dajue Mountain Temple, making the trip compact yet well-paced.
Excellent value for money, thrilling, and with beautiful scenery. The mini-train and cable car are incredibly exciting. It's perfect for lazy people, as you don't need to climb mountains and can enjoy all the scenery right at your feet.
Dajue Mountain in Fuzhou is worth visiting. There are not many people, and you can finish playing in one day. It is worth visiting. Rafting is exciting and fun. It is a great way to cool down in summer, plus the cableway. It is not expensive, and the round trip is included. You can see the scenery that you can't see when climbing mountains. It is very shocking. I don't recommend the cliff train. The cost performance is not very high, but you can go if you want to experience it. If there is a sea of clouds, you can see it. In addition, the things sold in the scenic area are not expensive. Goggles are only 5 yuan each, which is cheaper than online. The price there is about one yuan more expensive than at the foot of the mountain. It is a very conscientious scenic spot, and the scenery is also amazing.
5A-level scenic spot, not very well-known, natural landscape is average, cultural landscape is OK, Nantianmen, Dajueyan Temple and Dushudong on the top of the mountain are worth checking in, known as the only cliff train in China, it is said that it cost a lot of money, if you don't take the cable car, climbing to the top of the mountain is not tiring, round trip is only two hours, but there is no scenery to see, the cable car can overlook the lake below, it is still OK, the cable car up and down 60, one-way down 34, acceptable
Dajue Mountain is located in Zixi County, Fuzhou City, Jiangxi Province, in the eastern part of Jiangxi Province and the western foot of Wuyi Mountain Range. The center is located at 116º46' east longitude and 27º28' north latitude, bordering Guangze, Fujian Province. It is 130 kilometers east of Wuyi Mountain Scenic Area in Fujian Province, 150 kilometers west of Dajin Lake Scenic Area in Taining, Fujian Province, and 70 kilometers north of Longhu Mountain Scenic Area in Jiangxi Province. It covers an area of 204 square kilometers. Dajue Mountain was formed in the late Mesozoic era, with an average altitude of about 900 meters. The Hedong Peak on the east side of Dajue Temple has an altitude of 1,364 meters, which is the highest peak in Dajue Mountain Scenic Area. Dajue Mountain Scenic Area is divided into two major areas, east and west. The east area is based on 300,000 acres of virgin forest, and has a collection of 1,498 kinds of plants, and nearly 40 first- and second-level national precious protected animals and plants. It is known as the "natural oxygen bar and animal and plant gene bank". The west area has alpine lakes, canyon rafting, thousand-year-old temples, Tianlang and other attractions, integrating natural ecology and Buddhist culture.
A very new scenic spot, well planned and designed, with nearly a thousand parking spaces in the parking lot. Dajue Mountain is said to be the best rafting in Jiangxi. We went there in winter, surrounded by clouds and mist, and it was also a fairyland-like beauty. The itinerary is to change the environmental protection car to the cable car, and then climb the mountain for nearly an hour to view the scenery. The whole journey takes 3 to 4 hours. It is not too tiring to walk around and see.
The natural scenery here combines the scenery of mountains and rivers, integrating the characteristics of strangeness, beauty and grace. When you come here, you will be amazed by the saying "the holy mountains and holy waters bring peace of mind, and you will be nostalgic for the great scenery from now on." Exercising the body and cleansing the soul are both essential, and hiking and taking the cable car are both good choices.
