What people are saying:

OTH is one of the many extinct volcanoes in Auckland. From here you can see the Auckland skyline, the nearby islands as well as go to the park below to shoot archery or hang out with the sheep. Beware - it's REALLY windy up here!

See Auckland's two harbours at once

Like a lot of New Zealand history, a simple volcanic peak with an obelisk on it obscures a lot of historry. This volcanic peak is 182 metres (597 feet) tall. It has great views over Auckland's two h...

Additional Information

One Tree Hill, also known as Dushu Mountain, is located in the Cornwall Park in the southern suburbs of Auckland. It is a hillock formed by volcanic eruptions about 30,000 years ago. There was a solitary pine tree on the top of the mountain. Now the tree is gone, and there is only one monument and the tomb of Sir John Logan Campbell, the father of Auckland. Standing on the top of a tree hill overlooking Auckland.
