What people are saying:

The museum at the University of South Carolina is free and open to the public. The staff in the visitor center is very enthusiastic and the exhibits are frequently changed. Mainly some exhibits related to the long history of the school, the earliest exhibits are in the mid-19th century. There will also be exhibits from some sponsors.

    Waste of time

We found the McKissick to be a real waste of time. The Treme costumes were nice but seemed to have no relation to USC. Rest of the museum waas dull and freezing.

    Exhibits are Interesting and Free!

We came for the Treme Costumes Exhibit as the main reason for our visit. It was very worthwhile and you cannot beat the “free” price of admission. We took in two other exhibits while there. Check ou...
