River Street

The river street is a great place for shopping and getting in to the local vibe. I would recommend going to the candy shop on the street. Stay at the Marriott Riverfront Hotel to have great river views like I did.

I love this street! From the riverside candy store to many great restaurants, come see this wonderful city! You can see any ships that pass by. Many hotels line the street to chose from.

Savannah is a city of Atlantic coast port and tourist city in Georgia. Savannah is also the host city of the 1996 Atlanta Summer Olympic Sailing Games! Founded in 1733, Savannah was the capital of Georgia, then the British colony, and later the first state capital of Georgia. Savannah was named after the Savannah River, which also originated from the riverbank. Today, walk to the Savannah River and view the Bund. Old roads to keep up the old look, cargo sculptures by the river, a long view of the suspension bridge between Georgia and South Carolina, the old power plant's remodeled gallery, old tools on the wall for visitors to visit, the trestle to each family.
