It takes 2 hours to drive from Munich to Füssen. It is recommended to arrive in the evening and stay for one night in order to have a full day to visit Neuschwanstein Castle and Hohenschwangau Castle on the second day. This small town is beautiful before sunset.
Parking: 🚗We only went directly to the parking lot of the visitor center (parking until the afternoon cost 8 euros, saving the trouble of going back and forth to the hotel to pick up the car), and got the ticket to Hohenschwangau Castle smoothly at the visitor center in the town center🎫 .
It is recommended to go to Neuschwanstein Castle in the morning, come out at noon and quickly go down the mountain and head straight for Hohenschwangau Castle, and also grasp the time of the visit.
📍 Hohenschwangau Castle, King Ludwig II spent most of his life here, and watched the Neuschwanstein Castle built here. The large collections here are closer to the king’s daily life and are worth visiting (also prohibited Taking pictures 🚫📷) Just follow the rules. Taking pictures is not allowed to let me listen more attentively to the explanations. In these years, I am not as good as a child. I often miss some local explanations to take pictures of scenery.
M42***27After the visit of Neuschwanstein Castle, the road leading to Marianne Bridge is on the left of the exit, but it was blocked. Since I just heard that it is not difficult to turn over and I want to see the fantastic view of Neuschwanstein Castle from the best shooting point, Marianne Bridge, I am determined to go there! Just halfway through, with a panoramic view of Hohenschwangau Castle and Alpine Lake, the scenery is already worth it! When I boarded the Marian Bridge, I kept shouting in my heart. If I didn't see it with my own eyes, I would regret this dream. How grateful I am to come up, how grateful that my shutter records such a beautiful side. Only records can be engraved. The first stop was really perfect.
M42***48Alpine Lake, at the foot of Hohenschwangau Castle, the lake is clear and tranquil, with a sense of hierarchy. It is a pity that I could not row a boat in the lake on a rainy day. A 90-minute stroll around the lake, winding roads, towering trees, rain hitting the leaves and sand, hearing the breath of the forest is the welfare of the rainy day. Looking back by chance, the new Hohenschwangau Castle has a panoramic view.
