The pink sand beach is on the east side of Harbour Island, extending along the coast. Here, the water is clear and the sand fine. The area is quite famous both locally and internationally, particularly for its pink sand that many have learned about through viral Internet postings. Many multicolored and luxurious villas line the beach at this vacation destination favored by Americans that is also a top-class snorkeling and diving spot.
Pig beach is a small reef in the southeast of the Bahamas. It gets its name from the many happy pigs playing in the water there. Sometimes they are fed by local residents while they can also get treats from visitors arriving by boat. The pigs jump into the water to welcome them. I guess you could say it's really "hog heaven."
