What people are saying:

Fincastle Fort is located at the highest point in the city of Nassau. It was a castle built by Governor Dunmore in 1793. It was in the shape of a ship and had three cannons. Step up the stairs to the castle, and you can enjoy the panoramic view. The magnificent pink buildings of Atlantis on the opposite side of the paradise island and the several large cruise ships anchored in the bay have a panoramic view. The scenery is pleasant!

Near the top of the Queen's Staircase. Well worth a visit, won't take long. Good view across the island to the harbour. Entrance fee is US$3.
