The Eagle Road (Ørnevegen) is the name of the 11 sharp turns on Highway 63 between Geiranger and Ezdal, similar to Jiuzhaigou's Nine Turns. A few days before the opening of the road every year, the highest point of the hairpin bend-Eagle Wings (Ørnesvingen, 620 meters) observation deck is often named after eagles gather. In fact, after I walked it, I didn’t think it was so difficult. The right side of the photos I took is the Eagle Road. The last one is to look back at the fjord after reaching the top.

The Eagle Road detours in the mountains and the scenery is super beautiful.
Beautiful scenery and well-deserved reputation, it is really beautiful
It is one of the three legendary roads in Norway. Unlike the Wizard Road, this road is open all year round. We went in April. The ice and snow on the roadside have not completely melted. After part of it has melted, it will collapse from the mountainside. You still need to be careful. As for other things, this zigzag road is actually quite ordinary.
From the visitor center, go up the No. 63 highway on the right hand side, and you will find the famous "Eagle Road". Ornevegen Eagle Road has this domineering name by connecting 11 hairpin bays. At the highest point of Hairpin Bay-Eagle Wing Observation Deck (620 meters), the left side overlooks Gai Village, and the right overlooks the big bend of Gaiwan, with invincible scenery at your feet. From the bottom of the mountain to the observation deck on the mountain, the winding road of the eagle, while walking, shooting and watching, it took about 1 hour and 40 minutes to reach the observation deck. During the entire hike, I was the only one walking. Soon after I arrived, God pityed my hardship. Suddenly the sun broke through the thick clouds, like a huge light source shining on the small town on the lower left. The sun slowly shifts to the high mountains and ridges on the right, and then spreads to the big bend of the fjord, forming such a perfect panorama. From time to time, someone drove past and stopped on the viewing platform to enjoy taking pictures. Sunshine, clouds, small towns, fjords, waterfalls, snowfields, cliffs, cliffs are all indispensable, superbly crafted, and the charm of nature is fully expressed here. Thank God for leaving such a beautiful picture in my memory during my lifetime. Looking far away, majestic, and relaxed and happy, I can't help but compose a poem, Qilu "Road to the Eagle": Ascend the distance and look at the clouds and mist, there are people in the depths of the fjord, and there is nowhere to guard the throat, only the eagle spreads its wings.
