The Ballarat Botanical Garden is located within the town of Ballarat in Melbourne's northwest, about an hour and a half drive from Melbourne's city center. The Botanical Garden was first opened in 1857 and is the oldest inland botanical garden in Victoria. The Botanical Garden is located just by the famous Winterfell Lake in the town, with beautiful natural scenery. The overall area is up to 40 hectares, divided into three areas. In the middle of the park is the garden-style Victoria Botanical Garden, with flowers and natural green plants, and the north and south sides of the garden center are buffer zones of the botanical garden, with low bushes and lawns. A retro pavilion is retained in the park. The pavilion has been preserved since the completion of the botanical garden and is a Victorian architecture that fits the garden style. Artistic statues, including a collection of 12 white marble statues of Stuttgart, are sometimes displayed in the pavilion. The most famous landmark building in the park is a modern greenhouse built of transparent glass, located next to the pavilion. The whole greenhouse is shaped like a flat triangular column, which looks a little like the Louvre. The greenhouse is surrounded by green plants, and the natural sunlight in the morning or evening makes the scenery here particularly soft and beautiful. Therefore, the local residents of the town also enjoy walking here, enjoying the unique natural plants and the restored buildings that coexist with retro and modern. Every March, the Botanical Garden hosts the famous local seagull festival in the greenhouse. The greenhouse will be filled with seagull flowers of different colors and varieties. Some are suspended in the mid-air in the greenhouse, secretly stretching out of the flower basket, hanging in the middle of the air; some are growing in the ground in the flower field. · Different colors of flowers mix together to create a unique photo background wall.
