The Calvinist Church is located on the Buda side of the Danube River in Budapest, just opposite the Parliament Building in Budapest, at the foot of the Fisherman's Castle. It is easy to notice from the riverside that this red-brick church is built in a different style than other churches in Budapest.
Buda Calvinist Church is the first reformed church in Buda. The building began in 1892 and was completed in 1896. A 62-meter tower is separated from the church. It is a nave surrounded by four temple-like parts and above the central deciduous superstructure. The pyramid-shaped roof is covered with colored Zsolnay tiles.
Red brick exterior wall. Very characteristic building. Unlike other churches in Hungary, facing the Capitol. Very beautiful. Worth experiencing
