Dajian Temple

Dajian Temple was built in the 1990s in Shaoguan city, formerly known as Dafan Temple, built in Tang Xianqing before the end of 660 AD, has a history of more than 1300 years. Master Huineng of the six ancestors has been invited to Dafan Temple many times to speak the scriptures. Master Huineng said in Dafan Temple in Zhangzhou that the law and his life and deeds, compiled by the disciple Fahai into a book, that is, ＜ <Six Zutan Sutra>>, has become the Chinese Xiangzong theory giant ． After forgetting the ancestral silence, Xu Hui can Dajian Zen Master, in order to commemorate the six ancestors, changed the name of Dajian Temple. With the change of the dynasties, Dajian Temple has been rising and falling several times. In 1940, Xuyun Lao monk fork and disciples were exempted from the donation to renovate Dajian Temple. In 1985, Daxiong Temple was renovated. In 1992, Dajian Temple was renovated.

Dajian Temple ―― is located in the alley near the intersection of Shaoguan Pedestrian Street, surrounded by old houses. The modern antique reconstruction building has no value, but the Buddhist atmosphere is still quite solemn.
