The Getty Center (Getty Center) is an important landmark of Los Angeles, including a very modern art museum, an art research center and a beautiful garden. Today, the Getty Center has become another iconic cultural attraction in Los Angeles, after Universal Studios and Disneyland, and a place for art lovers.
Unlike most people, we left our time in Los Angeles to an art gallery: Getty Center. Knowing Getty Center, it was a surprise discovery by reading a bunch of travel manuals. This is the most abundant museum in California. Its founder, Paul Getty, was an American oil magnate who became rich in oil and had a taste for art, and collected many European artworks throughout his life, but he generously built the museum for the public to visit. White limestone is Meier's favorite, so it is known in the architecture community as "white designer". All stones are shipped from Italy, and the same quarry is used in the Colosseum of Rome. Stone symbolizes eternity, rough texture, and makes buildings "growth" from the ground. Now the art center has become the latest art landmark in Los Angeles. Intangibles often give more emotion or power. A provocative film dialogue or a sad tweet is more appealing than a skin-cutting feeling. In art, most forms carry this invisible force, such as architecture and painting. The Getty Museum houses paintings and sculptures by world-renowned artists over 500 years. Many famous masterpieces and impressionist authentic works are collected here. All works can be enjoyed up close and show the generosity of the American tycoon.
