Introduction
The Arc de Triomf is a fake triumphal arch constructed in Barcelona, Spain for the 1888 Universal Exposition held in the city. The arch functions as the ceremonial entrance to the expo. It is constructed of red brick in the Moorish Revival style common to Spain. Both faces of the arch feature elaborate friezes welcoming visitors to the city. The Arc de Triomf should not be confused with the Arc de Triomphe, a larger and more famous triumphal arch in Paris, France.

Arc of Triomf is a famous monument/landmark in Barcelona, Spain, and it served as a gate to a world fair in the late 1800s. I'd recommend it for history buffs, families, and those that prefer sightseeing.
Am not really into history, but I was there to buy miniature from Goblin Treader my friend wanted me to buy as a souvenir. I don't know what makes it special, but yes people goibg there. I assume they understand history and/or architecture better than I do :)
Impressive landmark on the edge of the beautiful Born neighborhood. And a great place to people watch.
My fav area of the city. Really wonderful and spacious, head to park de la citadell and the to the beach
