One of the best looking old towns in Europe in my opinion! Every street is so picturesque that every photo taken here comes out looking like a professional took it.
I was here early one morning. The sun was just rising and there were very few people walking around. It is a simple square, but it had a nice feel to it.
Th Gothic quarter was very impressive and gave a good impression of the former life in Barcelona. Little shops, bars and restaurant are all friendly and not pushy. We enjoyed very much
A really lovely park. If you are traveling with young children this is a nice place to relax for an afternoon and eat a tapas picnic.
I especially like to walk in such places. The buildings are very beautiful and very historical. Every building is different and seems a bit the same, and there are a lot of interesting shops here, and you can stroll around slowly.
Narrow lanes, mixed old and new buildings, some buildings have at least a hundred years of history, walking in them, you can experience the vicissitudes of history, especially around the cathedral, with a very strong sense of history.
Nice scenery, blue sky and white clouds, just stroll around
