fav place in Swiss
As it was written, I noticed that a Basel City Hall was missing, so I quickly made it up. The City Hall of Basel is located in Marktplatz in the old city. It has a dark red facade, high towers, a beautiful interior wall painted with colorful pictures, a romantic arcade, and a majestic sculpture standing in a corner of the courtyard. Everything is magnificent and artistic. The City Hall was built in the 16th century. The walls are painted with exquisite paintings by famous ancient Swiss painters and hung twelve emblems of the twelve cantons that joined the Swiss Confederation.
Every year before the Christmas holidays, a lively Christmas market is set up in front of Marktplatz. This is the busiest time of the year in Basel. It is full of souvenirs, souvenirs and souvenirs. many.
Basel is a city I really like. This city center is particularly comfortable to stroll around. There are fruits, vegetables and meat in the weekend market. Of course, you can also have breakfast with the locals at the coffee stall. Looking at the old buildings around,
[Fun] Including the red city hall. One minute walk to the Rhine River, or one minute walk to the shopping street.
This is a great building with a long history, located in the center of Basel. If possible, try it. The absurd price of 5CHF allows you to visit quite a few interior rooms, which is simply amazing. The history, woodwork and stained glass windows are great. There is only one English trip per week on Saturday afternoon. Very recommended. The tour group said it was 30 minutes, but we ended with a very pleasant hour! Just make a reservation.
