On the top floor of Jane Austen’s center, I accidentally found this tea house that had won the tea guild award of excellent for several years. The waiters were all dressed in Jane Austen’s clothing. Sitting on the top of the building and looking at the scenery outside the window felt like returning to that era. Afternoon tea is not bad, there is a 10% discount on Jane Austen tickets
There are many choices of sandwiches and the price is very reasonable
The Regent’s Tea Room is on the second floor of the Jane Austen Center. You don’t need to buy a ticket to go to the Tea Room, just go upstairs. The waiters in the Regency Tea Room and the staff at the Jane Austen Center are all dressed in Austen-era costumes. There is a portrait of Mr. Darcy in the tea room. Many of the Menus are also related to Jane Austen. However, in the Jane Austen era, the English afternoon tea has not yet taken shape, it is only to be related to Jane Austen. The tea room is not big and there are not many tables, so you probably need to wait. The most well-known set menus are Tea with Mr. Darcy and Ladies'' Afternoon Tea (Ladies' Afternoon Tea). Tea with Mr. Darcy is a three-layer snack rack, and Ladies'' Afternoon Tea has only two layers. Our three sisters ordered a Ladies'' Afternoon Tea and two Tea with Mr. Darcy. Even if two of them didn’t eat lunch, they were still covered by snacks, so I didn’t eat dinner... Afternoon tea, why not Visit the Jane Austen Center downstairs to learn about the past of Jane Austen and Bath.
Sandwiches are made so delicious, huh ^_^
