This shop is located in a relatively historic French shop. The environment is good. Many foreigners will enjoy the street view of Battambang on the second floor. The atmosphere is very elegant and the staff are also very lively.
The yellow house looks particularly eye-catching, I like the feeling of sunshine, very comfortable.
It's now found in the courtyard of Green Mango, two blocks from Classy Hotel. Thursdays is build your own burrito/burrito bowl, just like Chipotle, for $3 with a beverage purchase at Green Mango. Pretty good deal and it was actually really good! Authentic toppings and built right. The only reason it's a 4 star is the tortilla wasn't the best. But pretty good for small town Cambodia and for a killer price!
We went there on Thursday for the three dollar deal. There were many options and toppings. We were handed a piece of paper to circle our orders on. However, the waitress still managed to mess up the order. We were both given nachos...when we ordered a burrito and nachos. Some of our toppings were switched around. There were many topping options, but the toppings just did not taste fresh. There are not many options at the restaurant for drinks. They only had coke....was hoping for a margarita. The food was okay. It is a great concept, but the food just fell flat.
When first opened there were about 6 or 7 staff all standing waiting eagerly to take your order and help you along the selection of various things to build your burritos (where the order of the pictures are different to what is under the cloche - but that's ok). But looks like things have scaled down a bit recently. The reduced staff were doing different various other tasks, mainly eating or preparing chickens feet for staff lunch (fair enough, it was lunch time). Have been there a few times, so sort of new the drill. But still had to convince someone to take our order. Then greeted with 'what ya want?'. I guess it's better than 'watyourname' - but I wasn't overly impressed. Never many customers eating in, unless there is some church group holding a meeting there. It's central, can be quick, moderately priced.
Just want to let people know this place doesn't exist anymore unfortunately, it is just an empty shop now. Shame as we wanted some Mexican food!
The Red Pepper Mexican Restaurant has a comfortable environment and unique decoration. There are many sauces on the seats of the restaurant. Ordered the Mexican BBQ Chicken Set, which tasted good.
