Every time I come to Beidaihe, Pigeon Nest is a must-visit place! Also known as Eagle Corner Park, due to the geological fracture, there is a huge rock on the seaside cliff that resembles a standing eagle, hence the name Eagle Corner Rock. The rock is over 20 meters high, and often groups of pigeons gather at dawn and dusk or nest in the crevices, thus the name Pigeon Nest. Build a long corridor, watch the vast sea, and admire the rising sun! Located at the easternmost end of the Beidaihe seaside, Pigeon Nest is the best place to watch the sunrise over the sea. Every morning, tens of thousands of tourists gather here to witness the spectacular scene of the 'red sun bathing in the sea'. Watching the sunrise at Dove Nest, it's absolutely beautiful. It's a must-visit spot for photography. The sunrise in winter is around 7:20. The park opens at 6:40, and there was a long line at the entrance. Seeing the pink clouds, I was very worried that I wouldn't be able to catch the sunrise because the gate opened too late. Because it's a long walk after entering. But actually, it was just in time. It's just not very ample. The sunrise is fleeting, so you need to do some homework before shooting. There are two shooting spots, one is by the coast, the other is at the pavilion on the corridor. Both are good.

You may walk faster, after all, you want to watch the sunrise, so you should go up the mountain as soon as possible. The mountain is not very high, and you will reach the top after climbing for a while. Then it's waiting. You can find a suitable position. After watching the sunrise, you can go to the beach for a walk👣. There are several roads down the mountain, and some roads can go directly to the beach. The morning sun shines on the sea☀️, the atmosphere is very beautiful🌊, but try not to go into the water, the sea water is quite cold in the morning~ There is a stone carved with 'Beidaihe' on the beach, it's nice to take pictures here📷. There are shops selling souvenirs inside, and some snacks, such as sausages. I got up early in the morning without eating breakfast, and when I was about to leave, I was hungry and went to buy it. There are quite a lot of pigeons🕊️ in the square. There is a bathroom🚻 next to the square. 🏨Accommodation: It is recommended to stay near Tiger Stone Park, which is closer to the beach and the street scenery is also more beautiful. ⚠️But don't be too far away on the street. I stayed a little bit far away, although it was near the beach, but it actually had to walk nearly a kilometer, and then I went to the beach several times by taxi for a starting price, in this case, it's better to live near the bus stop🤣
