What people are saying:

Mangshan is the steepest mountain I have ever climbed, but the steps are well maintained, much better than Xiangshan and Xishan. Friends who drive by car need to buy an electronic ticket at the ticket office-change the paper ticket-drive to the main entrance of the park-give the paper ticket to the front entrance staff-drive into the park parking lot. The procedure is a bit cumbersome. However, the view from the top of the mountain is really good. You can see the Ming Tombs Reservoir and the Chinese Zun on the East Third Ring at the same time. The pavilions on the top of the mountain are also pretty. It takes 1 hour to climb from the parking lot to the top of the mountain.
