Meilanfang Memorial Hall (Mei LanFang Memorial Museum), founded in October 1987, located at No. 9 Huguosi Street, Xicheng District, Beijing, is a typical Beijing courtyard house, originally the Ma Ping Wangfu of Prince Qing Qing Dynasty, and later renovated into a residence, covering an area of more than 700 square meters. The eastmost side of Huguosi Street, Xicheng District, Beijing, is located in the former residence of Mei Lanfang, which is also the later Mei Lanfang Memorial Hall. The memorial hall is located at No. 9 Huguosi Street, Xicheng District, Beijing, covering an area of 716 square meters. Before Mei Lanfang died in 1961, he spent the last 10 years of his life in this quiet and comfortable courtyard. This courtyard was originally part of the Qing Dynasty Prince Qing Dynasty and the palace. After liberation, Mei Lanfang moved here to live. After Mei Lanfang's death, then Premier Zhou Enlai proposed the establishment of Mei Lanfang Memorial Hall, which was officially opened to the public in October 1986. After the establishment of the memorial hall, the collection of a large number of precious cultural relics and documents donated to the country by Mrs. Mei Lanfang Fu Zhifang and her children in 1962. There are 4 exhibition rooms: the North Room of the Main Court is the "Former Residence Showroom". The living room, study, bedroom and living room are all maintained in the original appearance of Mr. Mei Lanfang. The South Room of the Outer Court is the "First Showroom" with selected pictures and materials. Briefly introduced Mei Lanfang's main artistic life and social activities; the inner courtyard landlord is the "second showroom" displaying some costumes, props and some collection materials used by Mei Lanfang, and the other room is a special exhibition, which changes the content from time to time.
