Nanyuan Forest Wetland Park will be initially built in 2025 with a total area of 17.5 square kilometers. In the future, the proportion of ecological space in Nanyuan Forest Wetland Park will reach 60.3%, including 1,000 mu of forest conservation nuclear and 450 mu of wetland conservation nuclear, becoming "the structural ecological green lung of the southern capital, the world-renowned millennium historical garden". Nanyuan Forest Wetland Park is planned to be north to the South Fourth Ring Road, west to Beijing-Kai Expressway, east to Dexian Road, south to Nanyuan East Road, east and west 7.2 kilometers, north and south 3.4 kilometers, with a total area of about 17.5 square kilometers, of which 15.6 square kilometers in Fengtai jurisdiction. Nanyuan Forest Wetland Park has a total of 5,000 mu in the first start area, and the garden construction and Nanyuan Park renovation and upgrading project have been completed by the end of 2020. Nanyuan Forest Wetland Park B plot total area of 370 mu, up to 36 meters of the main mountain accounted for 200 mu, the main mountain top also planned the landmark building "dart platform", after completion will become a great viewing place.
