Jinzhou Daluhua Scenic Area | Escape the hustle and bustle of the city
Escape the hustle and bustle of the city. The Daluhua Scenic Area is located within the territory of Taoyuan Village, Baojia Township, Beizhen City, Liaoning Province, at the mid-slope of the northern Chinese town mountain—Mount Yi Wu Lui. Covering an area of 5.4 square kilometers, it is world-renowned for its steep mountains and towering rocks.
The Daluhua Scenic Area is a scenic spot that integrates natural and cultural landscapes, with 20 natural sites and 35 cultural sites. It is divided into Xiaopingding Mountain Area, Nanshan Area, Eighteen Bends Area, Daluhua Area, and the Service Area Amusement Park.
Leveraging the unique natural environment of Mount Yi Wu Lui, the Daluhua Scenic Area boasts lush forest vegetation and the largest black pine forest in Northeast Asia. The air is rich in negative oxygen ions, which are known as 'air vitamins' and are beneficial to physical and mental health. Daluhua is thus known as the 'Natural Oxygen Bar'. The rich regional culture of the scenic area is an advantageous condition for its rapid development.
👉 Recommended attractions: The glass walkway is the top choice, with a total length of over 600 meters, which is very fun. There is also a wooden walkway, which is also the first choice for photography. In winter, there are activities like playing with ice, snow, and ice houses, while in summer, there are rafting and other projects.
👉 Roads: There are two roads up the mountain, one wooden walkway and one concrete road (Eighteen Bends). If you don't want to climb the mountain, it is recommended to take the Eighteen Bends and ride the sightseeing car (25 yuan for a full trip, 15 yuan for a half trip). If walking, the Eighteen Bends is not recommended as it is quite steep and can wear out shoes.
👉 Dining: It is recommended to bring your own food, and be sure to carry water, as there is no water for sale between the parking lot and the mountain top.
📍 Location: Daluhua Scenic Area, Taoyuan Village, Baojia Township, Beizhen City, Jinzhou, Liaoning Province
🚘 Travel: Self-driving is recommended. It takes about half an hour from Goubangzi or Beizhen, and about 2 hours from Jinzhou City. Just navigate directly to Daluhua Scenic Area.
🚏 Parking: There is a parking lot at the bottom of the scenic area, 20 yuan/car (10 yuan/car at the residents' homes outside), and you can also drive into the scenic area. It is recommended to drive in to save energy

Beizhen Daluehua Travel Guide
Beizhen Daluehua Travel Guide
1. It is recommended to buy a large package ticket, including admission + glass plank road + jungle rafting + mountain slide + step by step shock + net red swing + colorful slide
2. I feel that the ticket price is quite worth it, but the reviews seem to be not so good, possibly because the queue time is too long?
3. I'm not sure if there is a bus for those who drive by themselves.
4. I went quite early, and didn't queue for a long time for Step by Step Shock and Colorful Slide.
5. If you buy tickets online, you need to exchange tickets on site. If you drive there, there is a traffic jam at the entrance. You must first get off and walk to the ticket office to exchange tickets + pay for parking. After you pay, you can directly drive in the opposite direction. Otherwise, you will have to wait for the ticket after you have a hard time driving to the entrance.
6. Step by Step Shock and Colorful Slide are really cool to play (if you don't have to queue for too long), requiring 1.4 meters and less than 200 pounds.
7. If you want to climb the mountain, it takes one to two hours. There is a battery car for 20 yuan per person, and then you have to walk for 20 minutes to the glass plank road after the end of the battery car. The glass plank road is really cool, because the mountain wall is completely vertical, so it's like walking in the sky
8. There is a viewing platform near the top of the mountain, which can only be seen by climbing up. If you take a battery car, you will not pass.
9. Jungle rafting is best recommended to play on the way up the mountain (but this way there is a way back), don't wait to play when you go down the mountain, because you don't have to queue in the morning, you have to queue for at least two hours in the afternoon, the feeling of playing is quite exciting, not recommended for children, because the centrifugal force is quite large, you may not be able to hold the handle.

In April, a pear blossom belt stretches for hundreds of miles
‼️ The Beizhen Pear Blossom Festival covers an area of over 120,000 mu, forming a continuous belt of blossoms that extends for hundreds of miles.

Beizhen Temple Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Apr)
Northeast Mountain God Temple ceiling, Jinzhou Beizhen Temple tour guide
China's Five Towns Famous Mountains
⛰️ East Town Yishan (Shandong) ⛰️ South Town Kuaiji Mountain (Zhejiang)
⛰️ West Town Wushan (Shaanxi) ⛰️ North Town Yiwulu Mountain (Liaoning)
⛰️ Central Town Huoshan (Shanxi)
The Five Towns and the Five Great Mountains are collectively known as China's ten famous mountains. The Five Great Mountains are for offering sacrifices to heaven, and the Five Towns are for offering sacrifices to earth. They are all places where emperors of past dynasties held their enfeoffment and sacrificial ceremonies. It is said that there is an imperial temple built under each of the Five Towns' mountains, and now the only one preserved seems to be the North Town Temple under Yiwulu Mountain in Jinzhou, Liaoning.
🐲The cleaning lady in the temple said that Jinzhou's North Town Temple is the largest mountain god temple in the entire three northeastern provinces. Emperors of past dynasties had to come here for all big and small matters to offer sacrifices. Emperor Qianlong even had a palace here (which has collapsed, and it is said that it will be rebuilt). A mountain god temple that is over 1400 years old, with five layers of temple buildings and red walls and green tiles, seems not so simple. However, most of the buildings are newly built and renovated. When I smelled the strong scent of paint, I knew that not much of the historical remains were left...
📸Some highlights
✅The stone lions at the entrance: Representing happiness, anger, sorrow, and fear (feels like speculation)
✅Stone steles from the Yuan, Ming, and Qing dynasties: They symbolize identity and are also the last defiance, 56 stone steles, 56 ethnic groups, somewhat coincidentally aligned
✅Ming dynasty colored murals: 32 founding heroes of the Ming dynasty (Xu Da, Tang He, Chang Yuchun...), somewhat reminiscent of the Tang dynasty's Lingyan Pavilion
✅Stone plaque 'North Town Temple': Written by Yan Song during the Ming dynasty's Jiajing era, he was a treacherous official, but that doesn't stop him from being a master calligrapher

⛰【Travel Guide】
📍Detailed address: Guanyin Pavilion Street, Beizhen City, Jinzhou, Liaoning Province.
🚗Transportation guide: Self-driving.
🕙Opening hours: 8:30~16:30
💰Ticket price: 20 yuan/person
🌟Highlights:
1. Long history: Beizhen Temple, built during the Sui Dynasty, has a history of over 1400 years. It is the temple of the mountain god of Mount Yi Wu Lue, historically known as 'Yi Wu Lue Mountain God Temple'. It is the most well-preserved of the five great Zhen Shan temples in China, ranking alongside the first Zhen Shan, Yishan in the east, Wushan in the west, Huoshan in the center, and Kuaijishan in the south, collectively known as the 'Five Great Zhen Shan of China'.
2. Architectural style: Beizhen Temple is built against the mountain, facing south from the north, and is the most intact ancient architectural complex. There are 56 completely preserved steles from the Yuan, Ming, and Qing dynasties inside the temple, especially the 'Guangning Traveling Palace' site from the Qianlong era on the east side of Beizhen Temple.
3. Beizhen Temple, from the entrance, consists of the stone archway→mountain gate→Shenma Hall→bell/drum towers on both sides→main hall→Royal Incense Hall→Inner Incense Hall→Changing Hall→Bedroom Hall→Transport Platform→Stele Pavilion, and so on. Additionally, the rear hall of the Inner Incense Hall is the inner residence of the mountain god couple, with statues of the couple and child servants inside.
❤Recommended reason:
1. Since its establishment, Beizhen Temple has been the venue for emperors of successive dynasties to conduct sacrificial ceremonies, praying for divine protection.
2. The 56 steles are precious historical materials for studying the culture, economy, and politics of the Yuan, Ming, and Qing dynasties.
📌Little Tips:
The scenic area is vast, and it takes a long time to walk, so it is recommended to wear a pair of comfortable sports shoes for convenience.

The lower courtyard is built in the midst of the peaks, like sitting in a well and looking at the sky; there are "Daxiong Hall", "Tianwang Hall", "Bell Tower", "Drum Tower", etc., the courtyard is full of green trees and cypresses. The middle courtyard is located on the Xianglu Peak, with curling smoke and steaming gang.
