Getting There - about 2 hour drive from Shenyang with moderate traffic!
Attractions - Most popular is Guanmenshan National Forest Park and Guanshan Lake Scenic Area. For the forest park it’s recommended to come early morning, since it is very crowded.
Hotels - Benxi Sicilia Villas and Trailers. There are plenty of accommodations available. Some good hot spring hotels along the way. A place with a view along the river is what gives the trip a very nice outdoor touch.
Food & Restaurants - loads of restaurants within the city center, offering more less all the same local cuisine.
Shopping - not really aside from some small convenient stores.
