Great composer and violin virtuoso. I could not expect that Bergen gave to the world music so great person!
Wonderful Lysøen
We live just nearby Lysøen and visit the island once in while. Very nice museum. The island is very nice for a hike with small children. Well worth a visit.

Hard to reach but worth it
The villa is located on Lysoen Island, which is hard to reach from Bergen. But it's a spectacular location once you get there, and the villa is simply wonderful.
