We are originally from New York so we have quite a lot of Chinese cuisine. Shenhua is as good as everything we have anywhere and in many cases, better! The restaurant is located on Berkeley&#39;s Corday Avenue, spacious and has an active bar (and a very enjoyable moment where you can enjoy cheap cocktails and appetizers and have the opportunity to taste their amazing pot stickers! Service has always been timely and friendly - we love Edward, the owner and his new manager, Jose, very capable. But people have been here for years because the food here is unforgettable. Some of their specialties are hot rice soup (we had a big family party at the restaurant last week and they said it was the best soup they had ever had!) Smoked tea tree duck, their version of Peking duck (the accompanying bread is softer and better than pancakes), garlic chicken - delicious, My favorite, garlic sprouts, a real treat. People come to Berkeley for many reasons...when you are here, visit Shenhua and strengthen your stay. You will be back!,

we were just walking near by, and went in the take out part was pretty busy, and they told us next door was the sit down, we waited a bit and were seated, it was pretty ok
