There were a lot of negative feedback on trip advisor regarding this restaurant ranging from rude staff to expensive prices .Our impression of this restaurant at the time of our visit were only positive. We visited the restaurant at around 2pm after visiting the Charlottenbug palace. The restaurants d&eacute;cor was classical (obviously due to facing the Schloss Charlottenburg) very spacious, clean and well kept. The waiters were polite, attentive and the food arrived within 10 minutes of ordering and were well presented and tasty. On saying this no restaurant should foul up producing such a basic meal. We had a plate of Chicken wings and chips, Breast of chicken topped with ham and Cheese, a Vodka and a half litre of wine for 40 Euros (&pound;30.99). I cannot see how this price can be seen as expensive? 2 glasses of wine in the UK would come to around &pound;10. We frequented a number of restaurants whilst in Berlin with the average cost being around 40 Euros and not once did we have an exceptionally poor meal.

Very distinctive western restaurant, surrounded by green plants, always feel a garden. German pork elbow aromatherapy, with black pepper sauce is classic; black truffle mushrooms, rice garlic, slightly more; potato bacon pizza thinly filmed, the material is very sufficient!

Having visited Schloss Charlottenburg, we crossed the road to this restaurant. It took so long for our order to be taken we very nearly left and in fact we would have been better doing so. The problem seemed to be gross understaffing with only two serving during a busy lunchtime. We were pleased that our order went in just before a large table full of diners arrived but, you have guessed it, their food arrived first. The waitress clearly recognised the problem because two successive baskets of bread were provided.I chased our order up a couple of times and finally it arrived an hour later. I&#39;d ordered from the specials list and had a steak and fries. As one would expect for 12.90 euros it was a thinnish piece but the meal was tasty enough although I would have enjoyed it more if I hadn&#39;t had to gobble it down in order to catch the next hourly tourist bus. My wife said that her ratatouille was very oily and excessively salty, so much so that she barely touched it. We had noticed that Berlin restaurant food tended to be heavily salted. On reflection, perhaps we should have tried the Italian restaurant next door.

We arrive at the Eosander by chance, starving and we decide to go for a Barbecue burger. The service was not really fast, but ok. The burger is indeed XXL as the menu says and comes with tons of fries. The bread was quite old and soggy and the barbecue sauce was depressing terrible. It taste like curry and the we complained about it. The chef says that there are several barbecue sauces recipes and hes one is like that. Well, be advised: his recipe tastes like a cheap and ordinary curry ketchup from the supermarket. The beverage prices are scandalous. They charge 5.50 for a 750 ml bottle of water! Yes, water! Beer is also totally overrated: come on, we are in Germany! Overall, we hate it and we will never come back. More than this: we suggest you to avoid the place and go for better options nearby. It is a trap!
