What travelers say:

A lovely spot on the Spreebogen waterside, looking across to beautiful old houses. But the service let the setting and customers down. The male waiters were disinterested to the point of rudeness, while the female staff tried harder but were clearly a bit pressed with so many people wanting to sit outside and have drinks in the good weather. It took incredibly long to be asked what we wanted, then to get two simple drinks, then to get the bill when we needed it. I suspect staff are underpaid, overworked - but whatever the cause, clearly not very happy. Which doesn't make for happy customers. A real shame, given the potential, and being attached to a hotel with the opportunity to cater to guests - perhaps they're just complacent? Management needs to step up here.
