Authentic delicious German food and giant portions. Great price, cozy interior with lots of seating.
A little touristy, sure, but legitimately delicious food (when it finally arrives) which seems more authentic in the Gilded Age dining room with a local Spätburgunder.
Traditional German food! Meat meat meat and potatoes. So delicious! Also their beer Kreuzburger Molle
Was hard to get in so we got there late, but it was totally worth it.
Get the Schlachteplatte if you want a serious meat overkill.
If you want a "Berlin" German food experience and not a "Bavarian-hof-bräu-haus" come here. Loved the Berliner Eisbein, Kreuzburger Molle and Barre Bräu. Strudel is 'homemade' too. Make a reservation.
Food was nothing spectacular. Meat was dry, and the servings were very small (good for one, non-hungry person). My Bollenfleisch had 3pcs of cubed meat and all sauce n potatoes. Totally not worth it.
I come here for German classics and Kreuzberger Molle. It's quite large so getting a seat is not an issue (even on Saturday nights).
First, you need to make a reservation. I waited an hour after I made the order. The course wasn't sufficient for one person. Not good as I expected.
One of the oldest eateries in Berlin. Classic old-style regional food in large portions at decent prices. Try the house beer!
