Touristic restaurant with slow service and so-so food. Staff does not care about clients as they work for tourists who will never come back. Food does not taste like true Russian.
One of the best brunch spots in Berlin!
Sunday brunch here is amazing, especially for the delicious mom-made-them-like cakes and tasty Russian eggs.
Leading vegetarian borscht. Plus great photos of people who could be your Russian forefathers and mothers, if that's how you roll.
start with the beetroot soup and go for the homemade pierogis. don't leave without trying the vodka schnapps with honey and pepper!
Great food. Breakfast is good if you like fish, not great but good with variety. Vegetarians won't many options for breakfast.
Atmosphere is very nice: live piano music, crystal chandeliers... Reminds of some ute place for intelegencia in 60ies or so.
Typical place and atmosphere. Big choice in the menu. Service is friendly. You can eat at the terrasse even when it's cold.
The waiter will friendly offer you a bottle of water, refuse it - the water (tastes like tap water) costs 6 euro :)
Patti Smith sits beneath the picture of Bulgakov when she is in Berlin. (Animal Crackers, M Train)
