Denghui Nunnery

Hui Deng An is at the foot of Tianzhu Peak Dongshan (or Interstitial Peak), with its back on the Kaye Temple, and in front of it is the parade to Tianzhu Peak. Leaning on Tianzhu Peak and facing Zhongyue, climbing the Golden Summit should start here. Save your energy!

Hui Deng Temple is located at the foot of Jinding Temple in Jizu Mountain Scenic Area, Binchuan County, Dali Bai Autonomous Prefecture. Hui Deng Temple is about 850 meters below Jinding Temple. The environment is relatively quiet, the air is particularly good, and the wind on the mountain is a bit strong.

Huideng Temple is a small temple on Jizu Mountain, where you must start to climb the Golden Summit. The journey from Huideng Temple to Jinding Temple is more difficult. You can use the cable car. The one-way fare is 27 yuan, but the fun will be less. Although the feldspar steps above Huideng Temple are not like Emei’s ninety-nine inverted turns, the steps that are not visible at a glance can still be daunting.

Huideng Temple is surrounded by ancient trees and luxuriant forests. Forest birds sing every morning and evening throughout the year, which is exactly what the ancient poem says, "Birds are more secluded." There is an ancient camellia called "Nine Hearts and Eighteen Petals" behind Huideng Temple, which is more than 240 years old.
