Toured the Third Man Museum, lovingly run by Gerhard Strassgschwandtner. It is dedicated as a film museum for the Orson Wells movie set in post WWII Vienna. It is encyclopedic about the movie with wonderful memorabilia. Gerhard also taught us much about post war Vienna. High energy experience for film and history buffs. The museum is located on the basement floor of an old building near the Vienna supermarket. You can take the bus to 5A, or take the subway and walk for five minutes. The curator and his wife have collected souvenirs for a third person for several years and are now on display. Here you can see all you can think of about this movie, and a 1930s projector that played about two minutes. I also liked some of the things about Vienna before and after World War II. There shouldn't be any of these in other Vienna museums.
The scenery is pleasant, full of fun, and the price is super high.
