After I came to Slovenia, I realized that it was the first country in the world to start raising bees, so I returned to Lake Bled in the evening to visit a bee farm and increase my knowledge. It has been heard before that the number of bees in the world is declining sharply due to human factors. This is a very serious problem, because bees account for 80% of many pollinating insects, which play a vital role in global food production. Without bee pollination, many crops cannot bear fruit or can only be pollinated manually. Slovenia also preserves purebred Carniolan Honey Bees, which are strong in gathering units and have a gentle temperament. The beekeepers here draw patterns in front of the nest box to help bees identify their nest doors. I tried their honey and it was really good. I bought two cans and gave it to my nephews. I hope they will like it!
