I went to Suya Joint and it was located at 185 Dudley in Roxbury. So I am assuming it is the same restaurant as the other reviews. The photos sure look like it. When we sat down, clearly the only tourists in the restaurant, and started asking questions, the waitress yelled for someone else to take our table. The owner maybe? She had a lot of patience and helped us select. We had Taushe soup, Egusi soup, assaro, yam and farina fufu. I wish I could go back. The food was very interesting. I am looking at the receipt or I would not be able to tell you the names...so not sure which was the peanut stew...but it was very peanutty. The assaro was yam and chicken- was all a little overdone and not as good as the tauche soup. The Fufus were excellent. No table cloths. Very casual, lot of locals. My type of restaurant, but not everyones. Good basic food. .
