McGann&#39;s is our go-to place whenever we attend a Bruins game at the Garden. We have eaten here numerous times and it never disappoints. Most recently we were there before the BeanPot game. They have a great selection of beer (one of the few places to get Sam Adams Red on tap). The food is always well prepared. Most recently I had the steak tips, which were very tender. My son had the delicious Shepard&#39;s pie. The burgers are always first rate. The service has always been friendly and fast. They have TVs to view the sporting event. There is a reason this place is always packed during a Garden event.

Good Food and Drinks before the Game. Walking distance to TD Garden. Food was good and the pregame atmosphere was very good. Great place to stop for good pub food and drinks. The staff was very upbeat.

Recently visited during vacation. Your classic sports bar, lots of TVs and sports memorbilla.Very reasonable drink prices. We had draft beer for 6 dollar pints and wine for 8 per glass. Food was large portions.

It was named the Best in Boston in 2012 and is located in the north of Boston, with a strong Italian style and worth a meal.

use to go here with my study group from Suffolk law, quite a few years ago... Was excited to see quality to food, and very reasonable prices are still the norm. Got preselected sticks, the usual app. Nothing special but just what we were expecting. I had cup of chili which was great! Made in house and you can tell. Husband had chowder, good creamy and lots of clams. I got one of the salads, very fresh veggies and a huge portion of chicken on it. My husband got a burger which also looked hand shaped. Came with perfectly cooked waffle fries. We had a few drinks each and whole dinner....less than 60.00! Only sad point to the night.....they no longer carry champagne, which was what my study crew and I got to celebrate completing a class.

McGanns is a comfortable Irish bar close to the arena not far from the north end. They pour a very good Guinness and have a good amount of both table seating and some bar seating. It is a comfortable place to watch a game or just to have a drink and a quick bite. Mike, the bartender, is excellent, friendly and efficient. The bar itself is clean and homey. We did not eat but I would return for the Guinness and to try some of the food

I have been to McGanns multiple times but this is the first time I have reviewed them. When seeing an event at the TD Garden I always seem to end up at McGanns and I am never disappointed. Its your typical Irish Pub in a cool old building. They have outstanding food, an awesome amount of craft beers on tap and the people that work there are so nice. On my recent visit I had a BLT with fries and a cup of clam chowder. Everything is fantastic. The chowder is out of this world good. I highly recommend you stop in at McGanns.
