The Franklin statue is located here in the Old City Hall. This is the founding father of the United States and one of the drafters of the American Declaration. The American Declaration of the year was read out to the whole people in the old city government, which is very meaningful.
Located on School Street, in the former City Hall courtyard, is the oldest bronze statue in Boston with a smile and solemn expression. This is the famous Benjamin Franklin cast. Nearby is the first public school in the United States, the Boston Latin School, built in 1635, and it still provides educational services in the Finway community in Boston.
