Because I'm a student at Northeastern University, I'm able to go to the MFA for free. The floor layout, at least for me, is a little bit confusing, but I could definitely spend a whole day in general walking around the building. They have a great collection and are always bringing in new pieces and opening cool exhibits. They also sell really great quality postcards in the gift shops. Highly highly recommend visiting if you love art or want something chill to do.
Today the MFA is one of the most comprehensive art museums in the world; the collection encompasses nearly 450,000 works of art. The MFA welcomes more than one million visitors each year to experience art from ancient Egyptian to contemporary, special exhibitions, and innovative educational programs.
Art museum with a vast collection. Friendly staff. Great place to spend a few hours.
This museum is huge. It has a little bit of every period so it’s impossible not to find something you like
Great museum with lots of exhibits representing various time periods, geographies and cultures. The art ranges from modern to classic as well as paintings and sculptures of every kind. You can easily get lost here and spend the whole day - good place for families as well.
It is a thoroughly top notch visual art venues
Great museum! Fantastic art. A little pricy but worth it if you want to see great exhibits.
If your into art and History this is an AMAZING spot to go! If not you can still check out the mummy's in the Egypt exhibit! They have great traveling exhibits and recently put on a large expansion! Tip: check out ahead of time but I think either Wednesday or Friday is free entry!
