Screw docks are a site where boats came into Bridgetown back in the day. Named because the screws would move dock up and down so boat maintenance could be done, etc. Free to walk by and check out but ...
Screw dock was built in Victorian times and is the only one of its kind. It really needs some care and attention to breath new life into it. There is a bar close by.

Be sure and ask someone for the history behind the dock and how rare it is. See if you can spot the sunken boat in the channel.
