We made a reservation to dine here last Saturday night based on the great reviews on here and were looking forward to it. We made the reservation via an online provider which I believe is owned by Trip Advisor and received a confirmation email and text but then received a follow up call from the restaurant advising that they only do dinner Mon to Fri. The restaurant website still says dinner available on a Saturday so I would really encourage them to correct this because people rely on that information when deciding where to go. We ended up going somewhere else in Toowong that has been truly excellent for many years and opens on a Saturday evening, which seems pretty usual to me.

Barolos Ristorante Italiano located in 41 Sherwood Rd, Brisbane, Queensland 4066, Australia, friendly welcome, efficient service with smiles. We feel like we are back in Italy. As always, we tried Rockford basket-pressed wine because it was our winner. The main course is a high standard, the gun squid is perfectly cooked with a warm salad, and the soft brie cheese La Tur and thorn bark is fun and delicious. The main course is the crispy pork my wife eats, it is crisp and delicious. I can&#39;t fault my duck breast staple. We did love our green food so the side dish with Brocolini and sugar peas was perfect. The dessert of the warm chocolate cake was perfect finish. The place was nice and reliable. Congratulations to the chef and staff!

Music and LocationThis is a great old pub, rather daggey inside but all the fun is sitting outside, listening to the great muso and enjoying the Valley Mall. The staff were very friendly and the place was clean. Go there and have fun.

The service was lovely - very attentive and friendly. We had the veggie spring rolls first up - hot and fresh, but no flavor at all. The red curry was ok, but the beef was extremely tough as were the bamboo shoots. For the price - the meals would need to be a fair bit better if I was to go there again.

There is a very good PIZZA here, we asked for a salad, the salad here is acceptable, because there are not many CHEESE, and then we asked for two different PIZZA. It feels good. But we won&#39;t come again for the second time because the price is not cheap.
