Way over priced
Pasty was good. Coffee not.
Went for a walk in Brisbane and came across this Cafe for breakfast. Was meet by cheerful staff who were polite and efficient. Ordered a mug of coffee and a Olios Breakfast. Mug of coffee was great and the breakfast was hot and well presented. They were fast and efficient and seemed to have have the ability to just pick up what ever was needed to be done. Would go again.
Really nice meal menu. We had Salmon and the Beef Cheeks. Both were very nice. A tip would be that they have a discount parking deal with the Convention Centre car park. You can prepay for $8 with any $40 spend.
New cafe in the Grey Street section of the Brisbane Convention and Entertainment Centre
Try the Sumac lamb wrap for a great, light lunch!
Bowl of chips go down a treat!
After asking what was in 2 of the dishes (we needed to know if there were peanuts in one of the dishes) on the menu, our waitress was going to check with the chef. After waiting for about 15 minutes while watching her attend to other patrons, we asked another waiter the same question. Blow me down, but he did the same! Carried on serving others without finding out the answers to our questions. Finally, after at least 20 minutes our initial waitress came back telling us that nuts were used in the kitchen and it could be in the air so nothing was safe, however we could have a salad (presumably made in the same kitchen). We only needed to know about PEANUTS IN dishes, not all nuts in the kitchen. She didn't have a clue what she was talking about. We walked out.
Great steak sandwich!
