The Matthias Fountain is a memorial fountain group in the west front yard of Budapest's Buda Castle. It was built in 1904 and is one of the most frequently photographed landmarks in the capital of Hungary. This fountain was built by the sculptor Arajos Strom and the architect Arajos Hausmann who rebuilt the Royal Palace. The sculptures include the Duke of Palfi, stag and hound.
You must visit this fountain if you are in the Buda Castle district. It is a work of art.
