What people are saying:

You will get much more out of this display if you know something about the Polish history. I found it interesting to see relics from 1100 -1600 but was kind of missing who was fighting who etc. The labels are also written in English but most of them are only describe the items displayed but do not guide you through the story. When you examine the outdoor area it was fun to see the airplanes, tanks and guns.

    The palace of written art

Situated in the city centre, Petőfi Museum is like a small palace of written art. The place is quiet and well-designed, the exhibitions are interactive and the information is organised in a smart way....

    A must visit

It was a wonderful visit not just because I got to know about Hungarian literature, but the staff were really nice. Kids will also have a good time. I highly recommend everyone to visit this museum.

Well-Designed but Limited in English Translations

Interesting. The World War I exhibit is worth the price of admission. Some translations in English but mostly a Hungarian only museum. On-site restaurant in the courtyard is good for evening dining...
